Read Verse: authentic

An easy search facility with several search engines: for:
single word,
two words, (gives the root and derivatives too),
root,
Surah (chapter) and verse,
provides translation in English from Hilali, Shakir, Pickthal, Yusuf Ali
topic search (don't know how comprehensive it is)

Very good search facilities. Perhaps best for words and roots, but no grammar:

Project Root List:

Project Root List: On the surface, a worthwhile cause, but encourages study without regard to the Prophet's words and deeds, and those of the Salaf. So caution again. Links to Lane's lexicon.

a 19er's site: (caution!)

It is a 19er's site, who believe that 19 is a magic number and the Quran revolves around that number. This concept was the brainchild of an Egyptian Copt who professed to accept Islam, and then set out to deny the Hadith and Sunnah their rightful place as a source of Quran's interpretation and Allah's law. His followers are also called submitters.

so be careful when using it, particularly translation. I suspect that to achieve their aims, the root may sometimes be given as different from the Salaf.

bblm: (caution)

This is amazing, but it is in Indonesian (?). What is written is authentic or not? However, as a root, word, derivative, ayah resource, it may be good.

You click on any word in the text of the verse, and it gives you the root of the word and displays Ayahs containing its derivatives in the Quran. Other info in Indonesian is not decipherable by me.

quran.bblm.go.id/

iQuran: (check)

another useful site ? but what is the source of their translation?

Unfortunately there has been a flood of websites, mostly from rejectors of Hadith. This may be a better one, but needs checking

Roots, words, Ayahs, all click-able and search-able.

openburhan: (caution)

I have given many links on my site, some authentic, some to use with caution.  openburhan.com is a site for roots and words in the Quran, but use caution, for the owner of the openburhan.com looks like being under the influence of submitters/ rejectors of Hadith.

http://www.openburhan.com/

While http://www.tanzil.info/ and http://www.allahsquran.com/ also give Quran verses containing different words from a root, in this one individual words are also click-able. When clicked, this give a list of different words derived from that root.

A word of warning: This site needs to be evaluated as in many cases it says that the root of the word is not found, whereas even for me, the root is clear. for example, it lists       وَ صدُّوْا   as without a root, while the root is ص د د   Secondly, although it gives access to a lot of translations,  some of these are very deviant ones. Third, many words are listed as "null", but a good point is is that in such cases it points to the corresponding word in http://www.corpus.quran.com which is an authentic site.

In the roots list are letters I for INITIALS (here used to describe huroofe muqatteaat), and U for UNKNOWN roots). It says the unknown here are 78 in number.

Quran: roots, words and explanatory dictionary

Allah's Quran and tanzil.info

Allah's Quran

and tanzil.info are two sites that provide the Quran is various Arabic scripts/fonts, translations of the meanings, recitations, searches, etc. Admittedly these are also provided by many other sites, some with a greater variety than in these two sites. However, an attractive feature of these two is search by roots.

There is a database of roots on both these sites. By selecting a root and hitting the search button, one gets the ayahs containing words derived from these roots. These words are displayed in red. The tanzil.info site also has other refined search capabilities.

The Quran Corpus

The Quran Corpus is an annotated linguistic resource which shows the Arabic grammar, syntax and morphology for each word in the Holy Quran. Clicking on an Arabic word shows details of the word's grammar, or a correction may be suggested. One of the features is the Quranic Syntactic Treebank. An example is given below:
